Q: I am a beginner who is training at home with goals of losing body fat and gaining muscle. I have read your article for training at home and wonder how many exercises per body part would be good, and what training split would be recommended etc. Your advice would be greatly welcomed.

A: I would suggest the following: Train 4 days a week. Do one cardio session i.e. a 30minute run or similar. For weights you could do Chest and Arms on Tuesday, Back on Thursday, Legs and Arms on Saturday. I would do 8 - 10 exercises per session and do 2-4 sets per exercise, train safe and lift heavy with proper form and you should get reasonable results. Eventually a gym is the best method of improvement.
