Q: Great page you've set up; I plan to revisit it often. Since you state that you're an admirer of Tom Platz, I'd like to know your opinion of the Big Beyond Belief system he puts out. I alternate between the 6 day 2x per day BBB routine and the 5 day one-bodypart-per-day routine. I've found that both routines give me good results.

A: Thanks for the positive feedback! I am admirer of Platz's physique and accomplishments. He was a body builder with a screwed up bone structure and thick waist, but because of his intense determination, he accomplished things that men with far superior genetics couldn't.

Having said that, I don't agree with all of his training and diet principles. I have one of his first books published, "Pro Style Bodybuilding." It's good for a starting point, but in order to succeed in bodybuilding, you have to learn what works for your own body. I have done that in the last 15 years, so I don't follow all that closely on other peoples training programs. I don't even know anything about the BBB program you speak of. I assume it is an off-shoot of the Bulgerian System.

Sorry I couldn't give you my thoughts on the program, but I've never checked it out. What I always tell people is, "Any good training routine will produce results. The main thing is to be consistent in your workout intensity and diet."
