How Much Sleep for Building Muscle
Q: How important is sleep for muscle growth and how much do I really need each night?
A: Sleep is a very important part of training. This after all is when your body actual repairs itself and grows. This is also when the body release growth hormone which is vital for optimal muscle growth. I suggest a bodybuilder get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. A minimal acceptable amount would be six hours. And try (like everything else) to go to bed regularly at the same times and rise at the same time or as close as possible. Until next time sleep tight and grow right.
