Protein Drink Recipes for Weight Gain




Great Weight Gain Protein Drinks

Whether you want to make a certain weight class in a sport or you need to bulk up, there are great weight gain protein oriented drinks that you can make at home within minutes. The great thing is by consuming liquid rather than solid to gain weight, it will be a quicker and more manageable process. The right ingredients will help you to get at your weight goal in a reasonable amount of time. However, you must be able to consume solid calories and not just use liquid shakes as a source of food. This is only to help speed up the process of gaining weight.

The first recipe you can try is add 3 scoops or protein powder, vanilla or chocolate, 4 egg whites, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, 8 oz. of water, and 2 cups of ice. This is a very tasty recipe and you can have two of these a day if you choose.

A great breakfast weight gain protein drink recipe would be as follows: 1 cup Quaker oatmeal-cooked with boiling water, 2 cups of milk, 1 banana, 1 egg, and 1 dash of cinnamon. This way you will have some fruit intake for the day and start it off right.

If you would like a sweeter shake you may want to try the banana bread shake. This consists of 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 1 banana, 350 ml water, 1 cup Quaker Oatmeal (cook with boiling water), 1/2 Cup Bran Flakes , and 2 tablespoons of honey. This would be your post workout shake.

For those individuals who like a lot of peanut butter, you may try the peanut butter banana shake. This consists of two tablespoons peanut butter, one whole banana, one cup of milk, 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup, 8 oz. of water and 2 oz. of ice.
